After developing the Permanently Unique brand positioning for Tattu we explored how we could retain the Tattu brand whilst making the whole experience unique to Leeds. We engaged with a local tattoo artist to create a Yorkshire Rose for use in our teaser campaign and we shifted our brand colour palette from pink and red over to white and purple.
A large slate wall above the main dining area offered the opportunity to push the experience at Tattu Leeds even further. We commissioned a local illustrator to create 3 characters for the space based on traditional tattoo art, we then animated and projection mapped to the wall creating a beautiful piece of ambient moving image for diners to enjoy each evening.
The launch of Tattu into Leeds so unprecedented bookings with the restaurant selling all covers for the first 3 months within 18 minutes of the booking system going live. The restaurant continues to thrive and bookings match that of it’s Manchester counterpart. With this success in mind we cannot wait for the next site.
